  • Day 2: Arrive in Lisbon + Welcome Dinner

Welcome to Lisbon! Get ready to work those glutes, because nearly everything in Lisbon requires an uphill walk. This colorful Portuguese capital is home to classic European charm, urban innovation, and breathtaking vistas from just about anywhere you stand.

In the evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner of local cuisine and drinks with fellow travelers at an authentic local spot. Afterwards, you’re free to take the party elsewhere!

    Today's highlights:

    • Meet an EF representative at the airport.
    • Transfer to your accommodation and check in.
    • Receive the latest schedule from your Tour Director.
    • Meet your fellow travelers as they arrive.
    • Walk through the Barrio Alto and Chiado neighborhoods, Lisbon’s nightlife mecca.
  • Day 3: Discover Lisbon

With San Francisco-like inclines, cobbled European streets, and a comfy coastal climate, Lisbon is the best of all worlds. As the oldest city in Western Europe, it's inscribed with millennia of stories that uniquely shaped the vibe today and they all start with “Once upon a time…”.

    Today's highlights:

    • Meet a local guide for an in-depth tour of Lisbon (and story time, obviously).
    • Traverse the labyrinthine streets of Alfama, the oldest district of Lisbon
    • Enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore on your own.
  • Day 4: Transfer to Algarve Region

Leave the hills of Lisbon behind for the Algarve region, located along the southern coast. The region boasts some of the country’s most pristine beaches, breathtaking cliffs, and castles of the stone and sand varieties.

    Today's highlights:

    • Hop on a bus, bound for the Algarve Region of Portugal.
    • Breathe in the ocean air and whip out the shades.
    • Discover the area around your hotel with your Tour Director.
    • Spend the rest of the day exploring, eating, and sipping Port wine (it’s from Portugal after all) to your heart’s content.

    Free time suggestions

Port wine: The only thing sweeter than a trip to Portugal is a glass of locally sourced Port wine. Kick back and open a bottle of this delicious dessert wine. The Mediterranean air only improves the taste.

  • Day 5: Algarve Region Boat Cruise & BBQ

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. And when life situates you on the Mediterranean Coast of Portugal, you take a boat cruise and chow down on some delicious BBQ. Yep, that’s the plan for today, so get your bathing suit on and get ready.

    Today's highlights:

    • Cruise coastal Algarve and quickly realize that this is indeed the good life.
    • Fuel back up with an included BBQ lunch.
  • Day 6: Explore Seville

Today is all about you, Seville, and a local guide. Your guide will show you the best of the best when it comes to Seville. Afterwards, get out and enjoy some free time in your new favorite city. Let nothing get in your way (except for the pigeons, maybe).

    Today's highlights:

    • Arrive in Seville, and meet your local guide to experience the city’s highlights by bus and foot.
    • Wander through the lavish Plaza de España and admire the Neo-Moorish architecture.
    • Visit the Moorish Alcázar, which was built in the 14th century for a king named Pedro the Cruel. Hmm...wonder if people liked him?
    • Wind your way through Santa Cruz, the former Jewish quarter and most picturesque neighborhood in Seville. Instagrammers, get your phone ready. This is your moment.
  • Day 7: Enjoy a Free Day in Seville

Today is yours to do as you please in Seville, the capital of Spain’s Andalucía region, and its biggest city. If you haven’t noticed by now, Seville is full of students that have definitely adopted the "study hard, play hard" lifestyle. And lucky for you, you get to skip the "study" portion.

    Today's highlights:

    • Dance your way through the colorful streets of the Triana neighborhood, known for painted ceramics and flamenco dancing, and get a true look into Sevillian culture.
    • Chill out at a local bar or restaurant and taste-test tapas to your hearts content. When in Spain, right?
    • Go green at Parque de María Luisa, a big beautiful park that stretches along the Guadalquivir River. What more can you ask for in a park? How 'bout a fountain surrounded by lions? They've got that too.

    Free time suggestions

Take the Bull by the Horns: Visit Plaza de Toros, the oldest bullring in Spain. Only the best of the best are invited to fight here. Can you imagine going head to head with a 2,000-pound animal in front of 12,000 people? Whoa.
Las Setas: Check out the massive wooden canopies of The Metropol Parasol, known locally as “the Mushrooms”. Once you see them, you’ll understand why. Lounge on the steps, or head to the roof for stunning views of the city.

  • Day 8: Transfer to Granada via Córdoba

On your way south, make a pit stop in Córdoba for views of the second-largest historic center in Europe, plus a visit to the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba. Continue loving life in Andalucía, known for flamenco dancing, Islamic architecture, and tapas on tapas. Excited? Hungry? You should be. Get to it!

    Today's highlights:

    • Enjoy a scenic bus ride through the heart of Spain, making a pit stop in Córdoba before continuing on to Granada.
    • See the expansive Great Mosque and Cathedral of Córdoba, regarded as one of the most impressive Moorish architectural structures and is essentially a massive mosque that functions as a cathedral. It’s okay, we’re confused, too.
    • Arrive in Granada and check into your accommodation, then get to know the area with your Tour Director.
    • Keep your eyes peeled, and your camera at the ready, for vibrant street art as you twist your way through the city.
    • Do some barhopping to ingest copious amounts of tapas and cañas (that’s draft beer here in Spain).
  • Day 9: Tour Granada

Lucky you. A whole day in Granada, free to do what you want. But first, join a local guide for a VIP tour of the city. There’s heavy North African and Arabic influence here, and you’ll see it all around you in the intricate architecture, fusion food, and even the music of Granada. Get ready to be dazzled by the Alhambra palace and fortress, the true highlight of Granada.

    Today's highlights:

    • Get up, get out, and get lost walking through Albayzin, a maze of cobblestone streets. Just make sure you leave a trail of crumbs to find your way home.
    • Take everything in as you wander the vast grounds of the Alhambra. It's part palace, part fortress, all parts awesome.
    • Walk along the Darro river to Paseo de los Tristes, and grab a table at a nearby café.
    • Look up and see the Alhambra looking right back down at you. Not in the creepy way, though.

    Free time suggestions

Labyrinth (Minus David Bowie): Albayzin is perhaps the most interesting neighborhood in Granada. It sits on the hill opposite the Alhambra, and is a maze of cobblestone streets filled with monuments dating back to the Nasrid period and Renaissance era.
Truth or Darro: Walk along the Darro river to Paseo de los Tristes, and grab a table at a nearby café. Look up and see the Alhambra looking right back down at you. Not in the creepy way, though.

  • Day 11: Explore Ibiza Old Town + Beach Day

The settlers of this piece of paradise dedicated the island of Ibiza to the god of music and dance, so it’s only fitting that the island is now a hotspot for all DJ-, club-, and dance party-related things. Explore its history today with a sightseeing tour of Ibiza’s Old Town.

    Today's highlights:

    • Explore the old town (aka the Dalt Vila) with your Tour Director, and learn the history of the island from before the bass dropped.
    • Take the afternoon to explore on your own, or head to the beach with your group.
  • Day 12: Free Day in Ibiza

Life in Ibiza keeps getting better and better. Take the day to hit the city’s hot spots, taste test your way through the restaurant scene, or enjoy some sunshine and serenity on the beach. And, of course, end your day in one (or a few) of Ibiza’s most epic nightlife spots.

    Today's highlights:

    • People-watch from a cafe in Plaza del Parque, a hub of restaurants and shops in the center of Ibiza Town.
    • Stroll through the yachts and jetties at upscale Marina Botafoch, and try to convince your fellow travelers to pool your savings together and buy a yacht.

Pacha Party: Feel like a VIP at Pacha, one of Ibiza’s most famous and best loved nightclubs among locals and travelers alike. This place doesn’t mess around, so expect to dance the entire night away.

  • Day 13: Travel to Barcelona

Grab a café con leche, and head to the airport. You’re going to Barcelona, a city of endless parties, wacky architecture, and premium beaches. So throw on your walking shoes, your party pants, and any shirt you’d like. Barcelona is the fiesta that keeps on fiesta…ing.

    Today's highlights:

    • Bid farewell to Ibiza, but never fear, more gorgeous beaches and lively nightlife await in Barcelona.
    • Take an introductory walk of Barcelona with your Tour Director. Stopping for tapas is not required, but highly encouraged.
    • Hit the town (or the beach) for an epic first night out in Barcelona.
  • Day 14: Tour Barcelona

This historic city is home to nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites, seven of which were built by Gaudi (he’s kind of a big deal around here). Take in the impressive sites, and understand why Barcelona is the only city to receive a Royal Gold Medal for architecture—the buildings are basically art.

    Today's highlights:

    • Explore the Gothic Quarter with your guide. Don't forget your black eyeliner.
    • Visit one of Antoni Gaudí’s greatest works of modernist art, Parque Güell. This colorful park is adorned with tilework, dreamlike structures, and not a straight line anywhere.

    • Check out the unfinished Sagrada Familia cathedral, where construction started over 100 years ago by Gaudí.
    • Stroll Las Ramblas, the main pedestrian thoroughfare lined with bars, cafes, shops and street performers—some more impressive than others.

    Free time suggestions

Market down: Visit La Boqueria, the famous market just off of Las Ramblas, with everything from fresh fruits to meats, flowers and sweets
Playa Long: Barcelona’s coast is lined with beaches, each with its own personality. Try party-centric Barceloneta, tranquil Caldetes, or water sports at Mar Bella.

  • Day 15: Transfer to Provence via Carcassonne

Kiss Barcelona goodbye—on both cheeks—it’s on to Provence, where the countryside is so scenic it inspired Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso to do their thing, and the lavender fields will make you want to roll around in them for hours. Add that to the vast vineyards and delectable ratatouille (vegetable stew), and you may never want to leave.

    • Taste-test some local favorites, including socca, the South of France’s take on the traditional crepe, made with chickpea flour. Step aside, Parisian pastries!

In 2017, the combined total value for the yachts on sale exceeded $3 billion. After letting that sink in, continue on to the Italian Riviera.

Spend your last day in Mykonos doing what you want. Whether that’s a beach day, a food day, a food AND beach day, so be it. In Mykonos there is no wrong choice.

    Today's highlights:

    • Take the morning to rest and recover as you please.
    • Lather on the SPF 75 (skincare is important) and head to the nearest beach.
    • Pick up that bottle of olive oil you promised mom at one of the many shops.
    • Relax on isolated beaches, swim in the crystal clear water, take in the beautiful ocean and harbor views.

    Free time suggestions

Party in Paradise: By day, Paradise Beach is a hotspot for sun tanners, sand castle-builders, and partiers alike. By night, the sand is your dance floor and the entire beach erupts into a high-energy party that goes ‘til dawn.
Super Paradise: Visit Super Paradise Beach, Paradise Beach’s smaller, quainter neighbor. Relax under an umbrella, hang out in a beach bar, and soak up your last day in this island paradise.

  • Day 34: Travel to Athens + Farewell Dinner

Your great, big, epic adventure is coming to an end. But not before you return to Athens for one more legendary night out on the town and a farewell feast with this amazing group of travelers you now call family.

    Today's highlights:

    • Board your ferry to Athens.
    • Share some laughs (and maybe shed a few tears) at an included Farewell Dinner.
  • Day 35: Fly Home

    Antio, filoi!
Translation: Goodbye, friends. Your next destination awaits—home. Before you head to the airport, enjoy your last few moments together. Take one more group photo. Grab that final drink. (Fine, maybe a couple of drinks.) But this isn’t goodbye. It’s, “See you later.” The only question is, where?

If you’re looking at this trip, BOOK IT. I can’t tell how much this trip changed my entire life. I met some of the best people, did things I never would have imagined, like making pasta in Rome or sailing a boat through the waters of Lagos. I will never forget how amazing it was and if I could I would do it all over again and change nothing. I cannot wait to... See more

  • Incredible trip!

Our tour guide was amazing and definitely had to juggle so much to keep things running smooth but he handled it all with ease. It was an incredible trip and I know that would not have been able to do everything that we got to do if I had tried to plan it all out on my own. It was a bit fast paced for my likings but it was a good taste of all the places I wan... See more
