**Please now you must add this excursion on at least 2 weeks before departure**

Don't Look Down: Test your fear of heights at the Tower Bridge glass walkway.

Today’s your chance to explore this city on your own and go beyond the Beatles.

Day 11: Tour Dublin via Holyhead

Make your way to Dublin! In the last decade or so, the city's become one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe. Companies like Facebook, Airbnb, eBay, and Twitter all have European headquarters in Dublin (so you know it’s a big deal). But to get there, get your sea legs ready—you’re taking a ferry across the Irish Sea.

Today's Highlights:

  • Drive to Holyhead and take a ferry to Dublin.
  • Arrive in Dublin and explore the area with your Tour Director.
  • Meet your Tour Director for a guided tour of some top sights, including the Temple Bar neighborhood, St. Stephens Green park, and Grafton Street.
  • Enjoy the evening on your own to make the most of your time in the city.

Free Time Suggestions
Do the Write Thing: The Dublin Writers Museum is an impressive tribute to the literary giants who called Dublin home, and includes artifacts like James Joyce’s typewriter.
Shop 'til you Drop: Scope out sweet deals on Grafton Street, located in the heart of Dublin. Once you drop, grab some food or maybe a cup of tea from one of the numerous cafes and restaurants lining the street.
Thick as Thieves: Kilmainham Gaol, a former prison, is now a museum highlighting Ireland’s path to independence. As you walk past the eerie, empty jail cells once occupied by Irish revolutionaries, be glad you’re not locked inside (or are you?).

Day 12: Explore Dublin

Today, you’ll see the best Dublin has to offer with a local guide on a walking and bus tour of the city. In the afternoon, tour the Guinness Brewery and order a “pint of Gat” (that’s how the cool kids order a Guinness).

Today's Highlights:

  • Pass through Phoenix Park, one of the largest city parks in the world. Look around—you’ll probably see a deer (there are 300 in the park).
  • Learn about the historic and renowned Trinity College, alma mater of many influential figures, including Oscar Wilde and Bram Stoker.
  • Go inside St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the 800-year-old church named after the famous saint. This is the biggest church in Ireland, and it stands on the exact spot where St. Patrick is said to have baptized converts.
  • Witness the history and brewing process of the world’s most famous beer at the Guinness Storehouse. Then sample the magical stout at the Gravity Bar, 200 feet above the city (that 360-degree view of Dublin ain’t so bad either).

Free Time Suggestions
Weird Science: The Science Gallery is not your typical science museum. Located within Trinity College, its exhibitions demonstrate how closely linked science is to our everyday lives. Harness your inner Jesse Pinkman and get really excited about science.
Whiskey Business: Switch up your drinking habits and try some whiskey! Visit the Jameson distillery, where Jameson Irish whiskey was distilled until 1971. Feel sophisticated as you sip Jameson and discuss its toasted wood undertones.

Day 13: Travel to Galway

Next stop: Galway! But first, stop at the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most visited natural attractions.

Today's Highlights:

  • Board your private coach en route to Galway.

  • Arrive in Galway and take an introductory walk with your Tour Director.
  • Explore the city on your own with a free evening in Galway.

Today's Highlights:

  • Watch as Galway disappears behind you on the 45-minute ferry ride to the Aran Islands.
  • Rent a bike and explore the green, Irish countryside.
  • Explore the ancient and mysterious Dun Aengus Ruins and decide for yourself how they came to be.

Return from your adventure in the evening and get ready for your Farewell Dinner. Enjoy a final meal together before departing for home tomorrow morning.

Day 15: Fly Home

Slán libh, a cháirde!
Translation: Goodbye, friends. Your next destination awaits—home. Before you head to the airport, enjoy your last few moments together. Take one more group photo. Grab that final drink. (Fine, maybe a couple of drinks.) But this isn’t goodbye. It’s “See you later.” The only question is, where?
