Alex Schaffer and Emma Topp

EF Ultimate Break's Marketing Coordinator, Alex Schaffer, has visited 28 countries (12 with EF Ultimate Break) and counting. Since her first solo trip to Greece in 2022, she has been on tour in Egypt, England, France, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Italy, and Ireland. When she’s not traveling, Alex loves to read, write and scroll Instagram. When on tour, you’ll typically find her getting THE Instagram pic or falling asleep at a Welcome Dinner (she’s also the ultimate napper).

Emma Topp is the Social Producer at EF Ultimate Break, and after growing her list from 1 country to 12 on Semester at Sea, she was instantly addicted to travel. Known for booking one-way international tickets, she adores traveling solo and trying everything at least once (or twice). She is currently at 26 countries and counting, and aims to stay at least 1 ahead of her age. Emma is an avid vintage shopper, especially abroad, and prides herself on her ability to find cozy cafes and delicious restaurants based on the vibe they exude—her “6th sense,” if you will. As a maximalist-minimalist and a self-identified checked bag girly, she lives by 3 non-negotiable travel rules: AirTag in luggage always, walk with confidence even if you’re most definitely lost, and yes, you definitely could use an Aperol Spritz right now.
