Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight flight
Your trip is finally here. Feeling energized? Blast some Samba music. Rather unwind? Go for jazzy Bossa Nova. Both originated in Brazil, both are a vibe, and both will get you in the mood for the amazing week ahead.
Day 2: Arrive in São Paulo + Welcome Dinner
Bem-vindo a São Paulo! The biggest city in Brazil (and the southern hemisphere) is the perfect kickoff to your whirlwind Carnaval adventure. Known by the locals as Sampa, Brazil’s cultural capital is a melting pot that’s always buzzing—home to world-class street art, over 12,000 restaurants, and the largest Japanese community outside Japan. It’s a city that never slows down, blending culture, cuisine, and creativity everywhere you turn.
In the evening, enjoy your Welcome Dinner. Hosted by your Tour Director, this kickoff dinner is all about meeting your fellow travelers, swapping stories, and easing into the rest of the trip ahead.
- Arrive at the airport in the morning and meet up with your Tour Director and fellow travelers before heading to your accommodations.
- Take some time to rest after your flight or dive right in and experience a bit of São Paulo (maybe hit up one of those 12,000 restaurants?) before your Welcome Dinner.
- Get to know your group over an included Welcome Dinner of authentic local cuisine.
Sampa Sky: Get jaw-dropping skyline views from the glass-floored lookout on the 42nd floor of São Paulo’s tallest building.
Ibirapuera Park: Relax on the grass and stroll the paths of this famous urban oasis featuring lakes, trails, and museums.
Brazilian cuisine: Looking for lunch? Try feijoada, a hearty traditional stew of meat and beans, or moqueca, a seafood stew with coconut milk, tomatoes, and herbs.
