Get ready to glide down the Grand Canal in a gondola (an iconic experience you have to do at least once), get lost in the maze-like streets, and admire the grand palaces that seem to rise right out of the water.
In the evening, enjoy your Welcome Dinner! Hosted by your Tour Director, this kickoff dinner is all about meeting your fellow travelers and easing into the rest of the trip ahead.

There are no cars or buses—just boats, gondolas, and vaporettos (water taxis) gliding through 150 waterways. This morning, you’ll head to St. Mark’s Square to meet up with your local guide to see what makes Venice a city of dreams.

More about the unique architecture: From Gothic churches to Baroque palaces like Nymphenburg, Munich’s Bavarian buildings often feature ornate facades, painted frescoes, and towers.
