Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight flight
Cozy up on your evening flight to Lisbon and make sure you rest those legs—Lisbon’s so hilly that even its hills have hills.
Day 2: Arrive in Lisbon + Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Lisbon, the City of Seven Hills. Rising up from the banks of the Tagus River, Portugal’s colorful capital blends old-world charm with chill coastal energy. It’s one of Europe’s sunniest cities (about 300 days a year), home to winding streets paved in stone, tile-covered buildings, iconic yellow trams, and enough pastries to fuel your whole trip.
In the evening, enjoy your Welcome Dinner! Hosted by your Tour Director, this kickoff dinner is all about getting to know the others in your group and easing into the rest of the trip ahead.
- Arrive at the airport to meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers as they arrive.
- Transfer to your hotel to check into your accommodation.
- Head out into the night for a Welcome Dinner with your group at an authentic local spot.

Travelers absolutely adore the Lisbon City Experience, highlighting the perfect blend of guided activities and free time to explore the city's rich history, beautiful architecture, and delicious cuisine—especially the popular pastel de nata pastries. The tour directors, particularly Tomás and Joana, receive glowing praise for their knowledge, enthusiasm, and ability to make everyone feel included while exploring Lisbon and excursions to Sintra, Cascais, and Evora. While some travelers note the hilly terrain requires comfortable shoes and the activity level might be higher than "low" as listed, the overwhelming sentiment is that this trip offers an ideal balance of cultural immersion and relaxation in a charming, walkable city.
