Which trip type is right for you?
Essential: Room with 3+ other travelers in conveniently located hostels. For budget-conscious extroverts who love a group moment.
Plus: Room with just one other person in 3- or 4-star hotels. Perfect for people who value privacy and recharging in their own space.
Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight flight
Cozy up on your flight to Portugal, where you’ll sip port wine, climb looots of hills (oops), and explore two of the most underrated coastal cities on the entire planet.
Day 2: Arrive in Porto + Welcome Dinner
Bom dia from Porto, a city of people so resilient that it’s nicknamed Invicta—aka invincible. Coincidently, after a Welcome Dinner hosted by your Tour Director and a good night’s sleep, you’ll feel invincible in Porto.
- Arrive at the airport to meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers as they arrive.
- Transfer to your hotel to check into your accommodation.
- Head out into the night for a Welcome Dinner with your group at an authentic local spot.

This trip itinerary and the TD have a lot of room for improvement. This itinerary is too open ended & the TD failed to deliver on extra activities or alternatives when bad weather interfered. Also, the hotels lacked proper AC (your room will be damp and humid & stay that way bc...
Ultimate Break
Thanks so much for reaching out and I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your experience. Some of our travelers love tours with lots of free...
Sofia was a great TD, we had a great balance of free time and activities in my opinion. There was a lot of free time to explore which was great, and had the best time meeting new people. The only thing I wish we did was have the Douro cruise included with the wine tasting, but...
When I booked the trip, I just wanted an organized itinerary where I got to explore the towns. Yes, I got that, and my tour group was absolutely great, but the tour guide Tomas was superb! Kind, funny, energetic and so hospitable- just absolutely the perfect guide. He made...
Such a fun trip!! It was the perfect length. Our tour director, Tomás, was incredible! I was worried about the weather in October and while it did rain briefly on some days, it was still a wonderful trip. The excursions were so fun! Be prepared for lots of walking and hills!
This trip was seriously once-in-a-lifetime. I did not research anything about Portugal in advance, so I had no idea what to expect, and it did not disappoint. Location aside, what truly made this trip so memorable were the fantastic people I met and the beyond kind and...
This trip was so much fun and a great way to start my EF Break journey. The group was so much fun, friendly, and just all around an amazing time. I loved the cities, free time, and excursions. Totally recommend this trip for someone who wants a shorter trip to explore Portugal!
