Why go?
Croatia and Slovenia have somehow escaped the social-media-hype-to-crowded-hotspot pipeline and just stayed...cool. Golden hour in Ljubljana, where locals treat the riverfront like their outdoor living room. Serene Lake Bled with its cute island church. Wild natural beauty, from subterranean caves and cascading waterfalls to the Adriatic coast. And Zagreb! One of Europe’s most underrated (and caffeinated) cities. The biggest issue with this trip? It can’t go on forever.

Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight flight to Slovenia
Settle in, put your seat back (just a little, you’re not a monster), and try to sleep. A week in Croatia and Slovenia, two of the most underrated corners of Europe, will be waiting when you land.
Day 2: Arrive in Ljubljana + Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Ljubljana, a city that does everything right and has still managed to fly very under the radar. The vibe is storybook meets super chill. Dragons (they’re everywhere), charming pastel buildings, a castle on a hill, and cafes along the river that were made for sitting and yapping over spritzes. Ljubljana translates to “beloved” for a reason, and you’re about to find out why.
In the evening, it’s time for your Welcome Dinner. Hosted by your Tour Director, this is where you’ll get to know the people you’ll be laughing with for the next week and relying on to not lose their passports.
- Arrive at the airport to meet your fellow travelers and your Tour Director.
- Transfer to your accommodations and check in to your hotel.
- Head out for the first group dinner of your trip.
