Tour Director Travel Guide: London with Fabrice
Why you should drop everything and visit London ASAP, according to EF Ultimate Break Tour Director Fabrice.
London is the most exciting city on Earth! I know, bold claim—but I stand by it. There’s just so much to do in England’s capital. Incredible restaurants, iconic shows (sorry NYC, the West End beats Broadway!), and so many layers of history that you’re literally walking through different centuries as you explore.
And what makes it even better? Every part of the city has its own thing going on. From Camden’s punk-rock vibes to Notting Hill’s pastel perfection to Shoreditch’s street art and hipster cafés—each neighborhood has its own look, its own feel, even its own accent. London isn’t just a city, it’s like 15 cities wrapped up in one.

If someone only has 24 hours to visit London, they absolutely can’t miss ...
You should 100% see a West End show. It doesn’t matter if you’re into musicals, drama, or big laughs, there’s always something good playing. The energy in those theaters is unmatched.
Before or after the show, grab some classic fish and chips (Jack the Chipper in Whitechapel is my go-to) and enjoy a pint or two at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street. It’s one of the oldest pubs in the city, and it feels like stepping into a time machine.
If you’re lucky enough to be in town on match day, try to catch a soccer game. London’s packed with clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Crystal Palace, and more. The atmosphere is next level, even if you don’t support a local team (just cheer when everyone else does and you’ll be fine).
What should you eat? Everything.
So, here’s the thing: London is a melting pot of diverse foods. You can get pretty much any cuisine you want here, and usually it’s insanely good. Vietnamese and Turkish food are two of my personal favorites, perfect for post-tour meals or late-night cravings.
If you’re looking to try some local favorites, don’t miss:
Fish and chips from Jack the Chipper (yes, I’m saying it twice, it’s that good).
Salt beef bagels from Beigel Bake on Brick Lane. Open 24/7 and absolutely worth the line.
Whether you’re into history, theater, football (Editor's note: soccer), food, or just want to hang out in one of the most iconic cities in the world, London’s got you. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’ll leave you wanting more. And, hey, if you’re on tour with me, I’ll make sure you don’t miss a thing.
