Itinerary

Day 1: Overnight flight to Spain
Board your overnight flight to sunny Spain and lose yourself in thoughts of all-night fiestas, seaside vibes, and next-level food. Catch some zzz’s now, because you might want to skip the traditional afternoon siestas this week.
Day 2: Arrive in Barcelona + Welcome Dinner
Welcome to Barcelona, where stunning Gaudí architecture, sunny beaches, and legendary nightlife collide. Wander the winding streets of the Gothic Quarter, grab tapas in hidden squares, and hit the clubs that keep the city dancing until sunrise. From the iconic Sagrada Família to the colorful Park Güell, every corner of Barcelona has a story—and probably a party.
In the evening, enjoy your Welcome Dinner. Hosted by your Tour Director, this kickoff dinner is all about meeting your fellow travelers, swapping stories, and easing into the rest of the trip ahead.
- Arrive at the airport in the morning and meet up with your Tour Director and fellow travelers before heading to your accommodations.
- Get to know your group over an included Welcome Dinner of authentic local cuisine.
Day 3: Explore Barcelona
Experience Barcelona’s unique architecture and atmosphere with a local guide as you wander the city’s enchanting streets. This historic Catalan city is home to nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites, seven of which were built by Gaudí (he’s kind of a big deal around here). Take in the impressive sites, and understand why Barcelona is the only city to receive a Royal Gold Medal for architecture—the buildings are basically art.
- Step into Barcelona’s historic heart, the Gothic Quarter, where narrow cobblestone streets twist past medieval buildings, quaint squares, and cozy cafes. Once the center of civic life, it’s home to the stunning Barcelona Cathedral, ancient plazas, and reminders of the old city’s past.
- Visit one of Antoni Gaudí's greatest works of modernist art, Park Güell, built between 1900 and 1914 as part of a failed housing project. This whimsical park in Barcelona’s hills blends colorful mosaics, serpentine benches, and fairy-tale structures with panoramic city views.
- See Barcelona’s 1992 Olympic Park, perched along the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Built for the Summer Olympics, the park transformed the city’s waterfront with iconic venues like the Palau Sant Jordi and Montjuïc Olympic Stadium. Today it’s a mix of sports history, stunning ocean views, and a reminder of Barcelona’s moment on the world stage.
- Listen for the sounds of both Spanish and Catalan—many Barcelonians are fluent in both. Spanish is spoken everywhere, while Catalan, the region’s historic language, often appears on menus, signs, and other public spaces.
Picasso Museum: Dive into over 4000 of Pablo Picasso’s early works, sketches, and paintings, all housed inside five stunning Gothic palaces.
La Boqueria market: Wander through colorful stalls, sampling fresh fruit, jamón, seafood, and local treats while soaking up the sights and smells of this iconic Barcelona market.
Day 4: Free day + optional Sagrada Familia & sangria + optional sunset cruise
The day is yours to experience Barcelona as you please. Whether that means exploring a new neighborhood, lounging on a beach, or kicking back with some tapas and a pitcher of sangria, there are no wrong answers in BCN.
Monjuīc Hill: Stroll up one of Barcelona’s most prominent hills known for its historic fortress, museums, botanical gardens, and killer views of the city and sea.
Beaches on beaches: Barcelona’s coast is lined with beaches, each with its own personality. Hit Barceloneta for party vibes, Bogatell for a sporty crowd, or Ocata for a quieter escape.
Ask your Tour Director:
- How to say simple phrases like “hi” and “thank you” in both Spanish and Catalan.
- Where to snag the best tapas: Try jamón, patatas bravas, and other bites that locals swear by—markets and tiny bars included.
- About secret viewpoints: Find terraces and quiet corners with epic city or sea views for the perfect Insta moment.
- When to wander El Born: Trendy shops, quirky galleries, and cafés tucked into historic streets make this neighborhood a must-visit.
- How to catch a local festival or Catalan tradition: From human towers to sardana dancing, get the scoop on experiences you won’t find in guidebooks.
Day 5: Travel to Ibiza
Wave goodbye to Barcelona, make sure you’re loaded up on SPF, and pop on your sunglasses. You’re headed to Ibiza! Where the sun is almost always shining and the good times never stop.
- Board your quick flight from Barcelona to Ibiza in the morning.
- Arrive at your accommodation, and get ready for non-stop dancing, gorgeous beaches, and unrivaled nightlife.
- Get the lay of the land on a walking tour of the island—it’s kind of unfair that Ibiza got all of the beauty and all of the fun of the Balearic Islands.
- Keep an eye out for mermaids—legend has it that Ibiza is home to the mythological sirens that tried to lure Odysseus from his ship in Homer’s Odyssey.
Day 6: Free day or optional catamaran cruise
Good morning, Ibiza! The Phoenicians settled this slice of paradise and named the island after the god of music and joy, so it’s only fitting that the island is now a hotspot for all things DJs, clubs, and dancing. Along with a vibrant party scene, Ibiza also abounds with natural beauty. The island has 57 different beaches and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its perfect shoreline and sea life.
Dalt Vila: Step back into the Renaissance within this grand fortress that sits above the town, filled with winding cobblestone streets and quaint charm.
Ushuaia: An iconic open-air club, famous for daytime sets, massive stages, and superstar DJs. Dance under the sun, sip cocktails by the pool, and feel the energy build into the night.
Ask your Tour Director:
- When to hit the best beaches: From bustling Bossa Beach to chill Cala Comte, find the perfect spot to sunbathe, swim, or just soak up island vibes.
- Where to find hidden coves: Secret spots away from the crowds, perfect for a quiet swim or a scenic picnic.
- About their favorite beach club: Insider tips on where to sip cocktails, lounge on sunbeds, or catch live DJs without the tourist chaos.
- When to explore Dalt Vila: Wander the cobbled streets of Ibiza’s historic old town, soak in the panoramic views, and discover centuries of stories.
- How to catch a sunset like a local: From cliffs to beachfront bars, learn the spots that make Ibiza sunsets unforgettable.
- How to discover island cuisine: Best local spots for fresh seafood, tapas, and authentic Ibizan flavors.
Day 7: Free day
Lucky you, another free day in Ibiza! Relax on Cala Comte’s turquoise shores, wander Renaissance-era cobbled streets, or spend the day at one of the island’s famous clubs. Savor paella by the sea, watch the sunset at Café del Mar, and decide whether your night ends with stargazing—or another sunrise on the dance floor.
Hippie markets: Hunt for handmade jewelry, local crafts, and unique souvenirs at Las Dalias or Punta Arabí, and Sant Jordi street markets.
Beach clubs: Head to Blue Marlin or O Beach for the perfect mix of lounging, dancing, and sipping frosty bevs with a view of turquoise waves.
Day 8: Travel to Valencia
Your time in Ibiza has come to an end, but it’s totally fine—you’re on your way to the coastal city of Valencia, Spain’s third-largest city and a sun-soaked blend of ancient history and modern style. Stroll past medieval towers, futuristic buildings, and palm-lined beaches—all proof that Valencia’s been mixing old and new for centuries.
- Enjoy a scenic ferry ride from Ibiza to Valencia on the eastern coast of mainland Spain.
- Track down some authentic paella—the world-famous dish that was born right here in Valencia. Traditionally made with rice, saffron, and a mix of meat or seafood, paella is more than a meal—it’s a piece of Valencian history served very, very hot.
- Expect to hear both Spanish and Valencian (a regional variety of Catalan) around town. You’ll hear Spanish everywhere, but street signs, menus, and conversations often mix the two—it's a city that sounds as vibrant and diverse as it looks.
Day 9: Beach day + Farewell Dinner
Today’s your last day to hang out in charming Valencia and you’d better believe you’re gonna spend it on the beach. Relax, work on your tan lines, splash in the waves, and reminisce about the week you just had.
In the evening, it’s time for your Farewell Dinner. Relive the best stories, the funniest inside jokes, and all the unforgettable moments you’ve shared with new friends. Raise a glass, maybe shed a few tears, and start planning your next adventure.
- Head to one of Valencia’s most picturesque beaches, like La Malvarrosa, a local favorite that we would 10/10 recommend checking out.
- Gather for your group’s Farewell Dinner...then maybe hit up Valencia’s Barrio del Carmen for one last night out?
Day 10: Fly home
¡Adiós, amigos!
Translation: Goodbye, friends. Your next destination awaits—home. But this isn’t goodbye. It’s “See you later.” The only question is, where?
